What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: Monday to Friday 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm.
Check-out: by 11:00 am; for direct bookings on request until 12 noon, subject to availability.
Can I arrive later?
Yes. Please contact us in advance if you arrive after 8:00 pm on weekdays or after 2:00 pm at weekends (except during trade fairs). You can then check in easily using our night safe.
When is the reception open?
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, weekends and public holidays 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The reception is on the first floor.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, our breakfast buffet (cold and warm) with regional products is included in the room rate.
Breakfast times: Monday to Friday 6:00 to 9:00 am, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 7:00 to 10:00 am. Times may differ during events.
For early departures we offer a packed lunch. Lactose-free, gluten-free or vegan food is available on request.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes. Our underground car park costs EUR 15.00 per night. The entrance is to the right of the main door, accessible at any time with your room key card (after check-in).
Alternatively there is a car park at the hotel for EUR 10.00 per night, and free parking along Markgrafstraße.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome for a service charge of EUR 10 per day. This does not apply to the deluxe room and the junior suite, where pets are not permitted.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
How do I get from the hotel to the Hannover exhibition grounds?
By light rail you reach the exhibition grounds in about 20 to 25 minutes: take line 4 or 5 from the stop “Herrenhäuser Markt” right outside the hotel to “Aegidientorplatz” and change there to line 8 towards “Messe/Nord”. The grounds are also quickly reached by car. Upcoming trade fairs are listed under Trade Fairs.
How do I get from Hanover main station to the hotel?
Take the S-Bahn S1 (towards Minden) or S2 (towards Nienburg) two stops to “Hannover-Leinhausen”. Or from Kröpcke (200 m from the main station) take light-rail line 4 towards Garbsen or line 5 towards Stöcken to “Herrenhäuser Markt”. The city centre is about 10 minutes away.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
Take the S-Bahn S5 to Hannover Hauptbahnhof and continue as described above, or change at Bahnhof Nordstadt to the S1/S2 to “Hannover-Leinhausen”. All directions are on our Location page.
How far are the Herrenhausen Gardens?
Just a few minutes’ walk. The Great Garden with Herrenhausen Palace and the Niki de Saint Phalle Grotto, the Berggarten and the Georgengarten are practically next door. What types of rooms are available?
We have 50 rooms: single rooms, single rooms facing the garden, twin rooms, double rooms, double rooms facing the garden, a deluxe room (25 m²) and the junior suite with balcony (40 m²). All rooms have shower/WC, hairdryer, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. More under Rooms.
Are there special offers?
Yes, for example our weekend special “3 for 2”: stay 3 nights, pay only 2. For companies we offer a corporate discount package and a long-stay special. See Offers and Offers for companies.

I received a message with my booking details asking me to submit credit card details. Is it genuine?
Beware of fake messages: travellers are currently receiving fraudulent messages by text message, WhatsApp, e-mail or via booking platforms that contain genuine booking details. We will never ask you to submit credit card details via a link or to make payments that differ from your booking confirmation. If in doubt, please call us directly: +49 511 7907-600.
